LONDON TAXIS

All styles of contemporary London Taxis are available as well as saloon cars with Taxi hire signs fitted. Some film and promotional companies may want to place ‘dummy adverts’ on vehicles and we will work very closely with your Art Dept to ensure minimum disruption.

FILM CAB

As well as practical Taxis we also have our FILM CAB which is a specially adapted vehicle. It can be used as a complete unit, or the center glass removed for extra access for the camera. If more room is required the whole internal partition is removable leaving a totally open cabin apart from the driver’s seat and rear seat. This can all be done roadside in minutes. The vehicle can still be driven even thought the whole centre partition is removed.

We also keep a constant stock of ‘retired’ Taxis that can be used for stunts and demolition.

HALF CAB

If you still need a bit more room then our HALF-CAB might be what you are looking for. This vehicle is the rear half of a Taxi. The cab has been cut in such a way that the rear doors can be open and closed, however there is nothing forward of that! The rear seat is in place and the side windows are removable
for camera and light access. This unit is very popular for ‘green-screen’, stills or can be carried on the back of a tracking vehicle.

Our huge collection of black cabs is complimented by some rare and unique examples of Taxis, as well as American vehicles, Police cars and much more.

The London Cab Company Limited provides a one stop shop Taxi service to your industry. In addition to our contemporary vehicle range, we have access to Taxis going back seven decades.

Advanced booking is always recommended (at least 48 hours) but in certain circumstances we can usually supply a contemporary Taxi within two hours anywhere within the M25 and Home Counties area. Our record for a specific type of cab is 14 minutes from initial request to working on location after the cab provided from another company had broken down!
